Emmanuelle left Oxford in December 2010 to take up a faculty position at the University of Michigan.

Emmanuelle Marquis was a Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin Fellow in the Department of Materials at the University of Oxford, researching in Atom-Probe Tomography. She was previously Staff Member at Sandia National Laboratories, California where she led atom probe research on alloy systems. Her work focuses on understanding microstructural stability and irradiation effects in Fe-Cr, W-Re, and ODS alloys using atomic scale microscopy techniques. She is currently pursuing projects in collaboration with Prof. Odette (UCSB), Prof. Baluc (EPFL, PSI), and Dr. Lindau (FZK). She is also involved in international conference symposium organisations including Microscopy & Microanalysis and TMS.
